Virtual Kiltwalk supports Shared Parenting Scotland

Five intrepid supporters have raised over £3000 so far for Shared Parenting Scotland in the 2020 Virtual Dundee Kiltwalk, which will get a 50% top up thanks to Sir Tom Hunter.  There’s still time to add your support – donate via the Kiltwalk site or after that closes use the donate button on this site.

None of the walkers went anywhere near Dundee because holding a mass event wasn’t possible this year.  Two of our fundraisers, Natalie and Alastair, went for shorter walks in the Glasgow, but the other three met the challenge in grand style.

Amee walked the section from East Calder to the foot of the Pentlands and then took the Thieves Road heading towards West Linton.  The picture above shows her at the 20.5 mile point of her walk.

Malcolm’s trek covered 27.2 miles and 5 peaks (944 metres climbed) around Inverurie. The photo above shows him taking refreshment on top of Mither Tap of Bennachie.

Will chose to walk from Clackmannan to Dunfermline and back on the NCN cycle route – 25.2 miles starting at 4am.

Well done all of them and their accompanying helpers.
