Martin Johnstone and Ian Maxwell before the start of the Edinburgh 10kMartin Johnstone took part in the inaugural Men’s 10k in Edinburgh on Sunday 1st November (International Men’s Day) promoting Families Need Fathers Scotland. On a bright sunny morning he managed an impressive 60.25 minutes and ended the run with a smile.
The event started at 10am in the Lawnmarket on the Royal Mile. The route goes past the Scottish National Gallery and into Princes Street Gardens. It then goes past the Scott Monument and swoops past the Scottish Parliament building, carrying on to Holyrood Park and Dynamic Earth, before heading on to the Grassmarket and then on to Murrayfield Stadium.
