The AGM of the Shared Parenting Scotland charity will be held in Glasgow on Tuesday 30th November. As well as the formal business, there will be two talks and a discussion on the future of family courts in Scotland.
The AGM will be held at our Glasgow office in Cadogan Street from 7-9pm and people who wish to attend or watch the event live on the internet can book a place through this link.
This topic is particularly relevant given the forthcoming implementation of various changes brought about by the Children (Scotland) Act 2020, the ongoing work on the Family Justice Modernisation Strategy, and the current discussion about which hearings should remain online and which should be held face-to-face in court.

We have invited Judith Higson the head of family law at Scullion Law to speak from the point of view of a family lawyer. Ian Maxwell will put forward a new ten-point action plan from Shared Parenting Scotland on this topic and there will be a chance for discussion about this issue.
