Lay Supporter Training in Glasgow – Volunteer Opportunity

Shared Parenting Scotland is helping to bridge the gap in support for parents who are increasingly having to represent themselves in Scottish family court proceedings. Our Lay Supporter Training prepares volunteers to provide practical, informed assistance to parents navigating the court system.

Following our recent successful partnership with Aberdeen University Law School, we will now be hosting more Lay Supporter Training dates:

  1. Session 1 of 2: Thursday 12 June (6pm – 9pm)
  2. Session 2 of 2: Thursday 19 June (6pm – 9pm)

Both sessions will be held at the Shared Parenting Scotland Glasgow offices, 51 Cadogan Street, Anderston, Glasgow. G2 7HF

The training will equip you to confidently assist parents in preparing for hearings, understanding and participating in legal processes and providing emotional and practical support throughout their court journey.
