Focus group on cohabitation law consultation

The Scottish Law Commission are currently conducting a consultation into whether the law on cohabitation should be changed. A discussion paper about these possible changes has been published and the consultation is open until 30th June.

Shared Parenting Scotland is holding an focus group discussion on this topic to gather views on cohabitation from the people who use our service.  Kate Dowdalls QC the Family Law Commissioner undertaking this consultation will take part in the focus group – her introduction to the consultation can be viewed here.
