Deadpool Joins the Shared Parenting Cause!

We’re thrilled to welcome Chris and his alter ego Deadpool into the Shared Parenting Scotland ranks!

Chris took to the streets (and local comic book shop) on Free Comic Book Day at Justice Comics in Stirling, where he rattled his fundraising bucket, flashed our QR codes, handed out free comics to kids, and stood up for children’s Article 9 right to maintain a relationship with both parents. A true hero’s work.

Deadpool first appeared in 1991 when Chris was just a child himself, about the same age as his own son is now. The superhero legacy lives on!

Mr. Deadpool had this to say about his mission,

“Not all heroes wear capes. Some wear spandex and fundraise for shared parenting.”

Chris added:

“I popped out for comics and became a champion for children’s rights. Classic Deadpool day. Turns out the real superpower is making sure children have both parents in their lives. That – and looking good in red.”

We couldn’t agree more. Huge thanks to Chris for turning comic book fun into children’s rights advocacy.
