The preliminary programme for the next International Council on Shared Parenting conference has just been issued.
Entitled “The Intersection of Family Violence and Shared Parenting”, the conference will be held online from Vancouver on December 5th and 6th 2020. Free places can be booked here for fourteen hours of current, relevant plenary and workshop sessions livestreamed to you.
Speakers from across the world will examine the state of research in Shared Parenting, Family Violence, and Parental Alienation; examine innovative tools and assessments, social and cultural factors, possible interventions, and consider legal perspectives. Ian Maxwell from Shared Parenting Scotland is presenting a workshop on “Should concern about domestic violence prevent shared parenting laws?”, covering recent experience in family law reform in Scotland and elsewhere.
