DESCRIPTION:\n\nAberdeen meetings are usually held on the fourth Wednesday 
 of every month in the Garden Room at Queen’s Cross Church.\n\nYou don’
 t need to book in advance\, but if we have your email on record you will g
 et a reminder a few days beforehand\, listing which lawyer is expected to 
 attend the meeting.\n\nWe’ve found that it helps for parents\, grandpare
 nts and other family members to talk to others who are in a similar situat
 ion and are able to share their experiences.  You may be looking for othe
 rs to talk to\, or need help of specific sorts – this is especially usef
 ul if you are going through a court process.\n\nMeetings are organised and
  run by Shared Parenting Scotland volunteers and staff.  We sometimes inv
 ite representatives of relevant organisations to speak at meetings.\n\nWe 
 try to have a lawyer present at all meetings and we are very grateful to t
 he family lawyers who donate their time to attend our meetings and give ge
 neral advice. Please say at the start of the meeting if the lawyer attendi
 ng is involved with your court case in any way and we will ensure that the
 re is no compromise or conflict of interest.\n\nOur meetings are open to a
 ll so if you are attending a meeting and would like a relative or friend t
 o accompany you\, they are very welcome.
